The Aquafog XE HRSM-2000 mobile fogging system combines Jaybird’s high-output XE centrifugal atomizer with a rugged, self-contained mobile platform designed for demanding industrial and agricultural environments. Engineered for industrial humidification, evaporative cooling, dust suppression, and chemical fogging, the HRSM provides portable high-volume fog production wherever environmental control is required.

Unlike high-pressure nozzle systems or spinning disc foggers, the XE HRSM utilizes Jaybird’s nozzle-free centrifugal atomizing technology, producing extremely fine fog while eliminating clogging nozzles and high-pressure pumps.

The HRSM includes an 18-gallon integrated supply tank, pivoting fogging head, and wheeled mobile chassis, allowing operators to quickly deploy powerful fogging performance anywhere it is needed.

Water flow is controlled by a quarter-turn ball valve, allowing operators to easily regulate fog output depending on application needs.

Unlike high-pressure misting systems that rely on small nozzles prone to clogging, the HRSM utilizes Jaybird’s centrifugal atomizer design to provide dependable fog production with minimal maintenance.

HRSM units include an internal feed pump, a manual 1/4-turn flow control valve, an illuminated On/Off power switch, and an internal float valve to maintain proper tank water level during operation.

The manual ball valve allows operators to adjust fogging output based on the application. Lower feed rates generally produce a drier, finer fog, while higher feed rates increase output volume for broader coverage.

Control Tip: Start with a lower valve setting and increase flow only as needed. This helps maintain finer fog quality and reduces excess wetting.

The (SST) version includes all stainless-steel plumbing components installed in place of standard brass fittings. This option is recommended when fogging highly corrosive chemicals or sanitation solutions.

How Jaybird Atomizes Water Without Nozzles

Jaybird fog systems use a patented centrifugal atomizing blade developed in 1986. Water enters a reservoir behind the fan blade and is forced through internal channels inside each blade. As the blade spins, centrifugal force drives water toward the blade tips where it exits through precision openings.

At the blade tip, several processes occur simultaneously:

  • The rotating blade atomizes the water into fine droplets
  • A venturi accelerates airflow around the blade
  • A ring of atomizing pins further breaks droplets into fog
  • Particle size is variable and desired size can be controlled by the feed rate

This multi-stage atomization process allows Jaybird systems to produce large volumes of fog while using a simple, reliable design with no high-pressure pumps or clogging nozzles.

The result is powerful fog production, strong air propulsion, and long-term reliability.
